Update: The previous version of these notes included a few changes that are currently in testing and not available in the live build. They have been updated to reflect what is live.

What’s up, Maximum Football fans! We’ve been closely following the feedback and conversations surrounding our latest update. We know there’s a lot of passion for the future of Maximum Football.

Our immediate priority is ensuring that the game you’re playing right now is stable, fair, and functional. This hotfix is a direct result of the reports you’ve sent in, targeting critical stability issues, multiplayer synchronization, and several quality-of-life blockers. Below are the details on what has been addressed in this update.

New Features & Quality of Life

  • Added the option to automatically convert MaxStacks to MaxCoins if you have insufficient coins to complete a store purchase.
  • The MPL team playbook will now correctly default to the one selected in your Team Info page.
  • Added an option to remove the facemask specifically for the Astronaut Helmet customization.

Gameplay & Multiplayer

  • Fixed an issue where team and individual player customizations were not appearing during online matches.
  • Resolved a bug where the Offense’s AceTwin Formation was hidden from the Defense during play selection.
  • Fixed an issue in Ranked MPL where white jersey selections and team outfits were not synchronizing correctly between players.
  • Corrected the client-side depth chart in 1v1 Exhibition matches to properly show equipped players instead of stand-ins.
  • Fixed a bug where “Play 5 matches” challenges were being incorrectly credited just for launching the game.
  • Resolved an issue where the client was incorrectly receiving challenge progress when the host recorded an interception.

UI & Menu Enhancements

  • Improved controller navigation throughout the main menu and fixed UI selection feedback in the Gridiron menus.
  • Fixed the overall stats UI to ensure it updates immediately when changing teams, players, or badges.
  • Resolved UI overlapping issues between the End of Season screen and the MPL 2.0 First Time User Experience (FTUE).
  • Fixed a bug causing an extra “5x Standard Pack” to appear in the main menu during the FTUE.
  • Restored the Maximum Login option to the Settings tab.
  • Corrected a bug where the free pack inventory count would not refresh after claiming multiple packs.

Stability & Bug Fixes

  • Resolved a crash that occurred when attempting to open a Player Profile before data had finished loading.
  • Implemented a fix for several in-game statistics that were not tracking correctly, which previously prevented certain Weekly Challenges from being completed.
  • Resolved an issue where Dynasty depth charts failed to load correctly.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the card pack opening sequence to fail during repeated purchases.
