The wait is over: Maximum Football 1.0 officially launches today on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and, for the first time ever, PlayStation 5.
Over the past year, we’ve worked hand-in-hand with the community through Beta to Early Access and Game Preview. Your feedback has helped shape the game through dozens of updates and improvements, from brand new features like Coach Mode and full Dynasty spectator mode to core gameplay refinements that make every snap feel more authentic.
Now, with 1.0, we’re opening the doors even wider, with new features, new content, and new ways to build your ultimate football universe.
What 1.0 Means
Reaching 1.0 marks a huge milestone for Maximum Football, but it’s just the beginning. It’s a foundation we’ll continue building on, with regular updates, new features, and ongoing improvements driven by your feedback.
Maximum Football remains a true sandbox for football fans, whether you’re running a Dynasty, chasing packs in the Maximum Pro League, or building your dream team from the ground up.

Maximum Football Comes to PlayStation 5
Starting today, PlayStation players can officially join the Maximum Football community for the very first time.
Weather Arrives
For the first time, rain and snow are part of the game. Weather brings a new atmosphere and challenges to every matchup.
Expanded Stadium Customization
Make your home field your own. You can now customize field color and stadium seating to match your team’s identity.
Multiple Team Logos
You can now upload up to nine logos per team, giving you more freedom to design alternate uniforms, throwbacks, or totally unique looks for your program.
Season 3 Begins
Today’s launch also kicks off Season 3: Golden Era — a brand-new season of content inspired by the earliest days of football.
We’re introducing several changes to how the Season Pass works based directly on community feedback:
- Passive XP: Earn progress on your Season Pass just by playing games.
- Expanded Rewards: More variety and higher-value rewards across both Free and Premium tracks.
- Two Stadiums to Unlock:
- Premium Pass holders unlock a brand-new stadium instantly at Tier 1.
- All players can unlock a second stadium at Tier 50.
New Animations & Improved Player Movement
1.0 brings significant updates to both how the game looks and how it feels on the field:
- New kickoff animations.
- Improved catching, running, and tackling mechanics.
- New ambient animations: sideline reactions, between-play motions, and more immersive details that bring the field to life.
- Updated player body responses for smoother, more natural movement and collisions.
